Housing Action NH established the Home Matters in NH Award in 2015 to honor legislators, advocates, and media for outstanding work in their field to inform and advance policy that addresses New Hampshire’s affordable housing and homelessness challenges. As part of Home Matters in NH Week, held May 8-12, 2017, Housing Action NH recognized two legislators, an advocate and a member of the media. The Bridge House’s very own Tricia Murphy was selected from submissions across the state in recognition of her outstanding work to assist individuals in remaining independently housed as well as connecting them to programs and services they need. Tricia was honored in a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 9th in Concord. We have always known what great work Tricia does for people in our surrounding communities, but we’re delighted that the rest of the state recognized Tricia’s work as well. Kudos, Tricia!
